This tutorial was really helpful, I included a survey form instead of a contact form. Works and looks great.
Thanks!

I'm trying to use this in the web building program "wysiwyg web builder". The problem is that any code added to the body goes inside of a "container" div. This is ok if the page is not centered, otherwise, the feedback plugin is visible on the page and when clicked slides out further down the page. Is there a way to tell it to start, say -300px to the left so it will show up off screen? Or will this just work on my monitor, but someone with a smaller monitor wouldn't see it at all? If there is some kind of code to tell a certain div to start outside of the "container" div, or is this a useless attempt? Thanks.

Hi. I want to thank you for putting this helpful explanation online. I was just wondering if there is a way to make it work on a page width:100% and coming out from the right side... and so that no horizontal scroll bar appears below? Thanks in advance.

The reason I did not include the sendmail.php file is mostly because I didn't want to promote an insecure web form to the masses. I was mostly experimenting with what could be done using jquery and sharing that. Its a very simple script though. Here is what is in it:

<?php
  $email = $_REQUEST['email'] ;
  $message = $_REQUEST['message'] ;

  mail( "wpaoli@gmail.com", "Feedback Form Results",
    $message, "From: $email" );

    // If this is an AJAX call, echo out a JSON object for Javascript
    if ($_SERVER['HTTP_X_REQUESTED_WITH'] == 'XMLHttpRequest') {
      $json = array(
                  'success' => $success,
                  'message' => $message,
                  'server'  => $_SERVER
              );

      echo json_encode($json);

    // Else, just display the message on a new page
    } else {
      echo 'Page was submitted...';
      echo $message;
    }

Why didn't you include the sendmail.php file? I'm having trouble making it actually send. Can you elaborate on that?

Thanks
